Chronicles From The Axis
 (under development)

“...indeed, it appears to be a point beyond time and space where multiple realities meet. Thus, I appropriately named it ‘The Axis’, alluding to the axial nature of its dimensional geography, almost palpable when mapping the countless universes that can be accessed through it (…) still, neither Dr. Ramesh nor I were able to so much as begin to speculate around its dimensions, a task that is simply out of reach for the human mind. But regardless of whether or not it is finite, it’s safe to assume that The Axis supersedes the concept of ‘universe’, mainly because its different areas are governed by different frameworks of Laws: Physics, Magic, Divinity, or any amalgamation of them, all seem to operate in one area or another, at times in tandem, other times in conflict, somehow binding every piece of this wondrous and outlandish reality.”

– Excerpt from “An Excursionist’s Journal”,

by Ezerhades, Sage of Yllantria

Everything that is known about The Axis is the product of an uncanny collaboration among three individuals from different eons and universes: Ezerhades, an Yllantrian medieval sage dedicated to the sciences and the divine arts; Van Der Guiller, a powerful wizard and influential arcanologist from Kandar’s second Age of Kings; and Dr. Navya Ramesh, a theoretical physicist from Earth’s 21st century. Their rare surviving writings do not make it clear whether they ever met or just built upon each other’s work. Personalities aside, all three appear to show great appreciation for their peers’ efforts, and while they converse through their writings with a mutual fondness that would suggest a close relationship, some texts point to a rather “transcendental” collaboration.

“…I was close to finishing the formulation of my hypothesis on fractal voids, when I finally came across Van Der Guiller’s brilliant ‘Void Scrolls’. To my astonishment, as I further delved into them, I found my very hypothesis cited in his work, thanking me for the contribution long before I had even conceived it. How could this be?”

– Dr. Navya Ramesh
